[Mashup Monday] Jay Nebra | “Snapback Krunk (Chris Brown, Tyga v. Wick-It The Instigator)”

It’s been a bit since we did a Mashup Monday, so we decided it we needed a big come back. Jay Nebra’s “Snapback Krunk” mashes Tyga and Chris Brown’s “Snapbacks Back” and Wick-It The Instigator’s electro-banger “Future Krunk.”

Bump this one LOUD.

Lil Wayne feat. Tyga, Chris Brown | “Fresh”

I’m not sure if this is an official track or not (because We Back Soon certainly isn’t an official mixtape), but whatever the case, “Fresh” is killer. The drum’n’bass thumping beat hits hard and Tyga and Chris Brown destroy their verses (though, I must admit, it’s strange hearing Chris Brown trying to HAM on this thing). As you can see, Weezy has virtually nothing to do with this track, he is only used as a sample, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be bumping this in this club.

David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj | “Turn Me On”

David Guetta is arguably the busiest producer in the game right now. In the last few months, he’s dropped “Where Them Girls At?,” “Little Bad Girl,” and produced Chris Brown’s “I Can Only Imagine,” just to name a few.

Guetta brings Nicki Minaj in for this one, a Europop dance track where Nicki sings the hooks and raps a little verse in the middle. Not exactly a “groundbreaking” sound for Guetta, but it’ll still get everyone fist-pumping with the best of em.

Chris Brown feat. Justin Beiber, David Banner | “Ladies Love Me”

I’m not sure what to think about this track. The beauty of Chris Brown’s latest smash hit, “Look At Me Now,” was that it featured a simple but danceable beat, and great rhymes by the likes of Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. “Ladies Love Me” tries to follow in the same vein, but Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes are replaced by, of all people, tween sensation Justin Bieber.

And can I say, as silly as it is that the Biebs is trying to go hard, he actually spits a few decent rhymes. Other than that, not even David Banner could make this track anything but “meh.”

Chris Brown feat. Lil Wayne | “I Can Only Imagine (Prod. by David Guetta)”

It’s like the Planets of Top 40 have all aligned.

Chris Brown (apparently taking a break from being insane), Weezy, and David Guetta, this is a friggin’ party anthem! It makes all those Black Eyed Peas atrocities look like “droopy-eyed armless children.” (Thanks Sheen)

[NEW] Big Sean | “Dance (A$$)”

Big Sean’s debut, Finally Famous: The Album, FINALLY drops on June 28, and we can honestly say, it’s gonna be off the chain. We got an early copy and the beats are great; the rhymes are even better. Not to mention the guest appearances from Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Chris Brown, John Legend, and Wiz Khalifa, just to name a few.

We decided to post “Dance (A$$)” first, because, well, we love to dance, we love booty, and he samples friggin’ MC Hammer’s “Can’t Touch This”!! That’s a win all around.

Mochi Beats | “Friends Till The End (Mash Up)”

Mochi Beats is quickly becoming one of my favorite mash up DJs, with his Big Boi v. Avicii mash or this new one, “Friends Till The End,” which samples about 15 different songs. Artists on this bad boy include Skrillex, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Waka Flocka, Usher, and Jay Sean.
