Coachella Line-Up Announced: Radiohead, Black Keys, Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, At The Drive-In & More!

Hot on the heels of At The Drive-In announcing a comeback after 11 years of silence, they are listed among the artists playing this year’s Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California.

I’m extremely pumped about this year’s line-up, not only because of my love for At The Drive-In, but Justice, Radiohead, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys, a Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg collab set, and Santigold will all be there. Not to mention Madness and Jimmy Cliff (some favorites from my rude-boy days).

And I wouldn’t put it passed Coachella to announce some huge surprise headliner the closer we get to the festival in April (i.e. Prince a few years ago). My predictions? Daft Punk, My Morning Jacket, Kanye West/Jay-Z collab.

EDIT: This is a TWO-WEEKEND event. I have no idea what the schedule of bands will look like, or if each band will perform each weekend. This does complicate things for those who won’t be able to stay in California at the end of April for a full week.

[MASH-UP MONDAY] Mashup-Germany | “Top of the Pops 2011(What The F*ck)”

If Girl Talk did far more cocaine than he (undoubtedly) already does, and he was a much better and more creative prodcuer, you would get Mashup-Germany. We’ve already done write-ups on his fantastic Chiddy Bang/Iyaz mash-up, and included his insane “Enjoy Yourself” mash on this year’s Summer Sampler.

“Top of the Pops 2011 (What The Fuck)” is essentially a “greatest hits” mash-up of almost every pop track imaginable from 2011. There are over 25 samples from this years Top 40 songs (you can see the full list here), and they all combine to form one insanely over-the-top dance/house/pop fiasco. Prepare to hear this a million times on New Year’s Eve.

And, as usual, Mashup Germany includes a kick ass mash-up video. Enjoy!

Avicii & David Guetta | “Sunshine (Special Features Bootleg)”

Two of the biggest names in house today, 22-year-old Tim Berg (better known as Avicii) and the legendary David Guetta, teamed up for the track “Sunshine,” but London producer Special Features remixed the track into an epic house-banger. You’ll be fist-pumping like crazy.

David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj | “Turn Me On”

David Guetta is arguably the busiest producer in the game right now. In the last few months, he’s dropped “Where Them Girls At?,” “Little Bad Girl,” and produced Chris Brown’s “I Can Only Imagine,” just to name a few.

Guetta brings Nicki Minaj in for this one, a Europop dance track where Nicki sings the hooks and raps a little verse in the middle. Not exactly a “groundbreaking” sound for Guetta, but it’ll still get everyone fist-pumping with the best of em.

Chris Brown feat. Lil Wayne | “I Can Only Imagine (Prod. by David Guetta)”

It’s like the Planets of Top 40 have all aligned.

Chris Brown (apparently taking a break from being insane), Weezy, and David Guetta, this is a friggin’ party anthem! It makes all those Black Eyed Peas atrocities look like “droopy-eyed armless children.” (Thanks Sheen)

David Guetta feat. Taio Cruz & Ludacris | “Little Bad Girl”

While many may not credit David Guetta with being an “imaginative” producer, it’s undeniable how catchy his tracks are, and how your booty will be drawn to the dance floor like a magnet when “Little Bad Girl” comes on. And it doesn’t hurt that Luda comes in to destroy this track.

Also make sure to snag Guetta’s last single, “Where Them Girls At (Feat. Nicki Minaj, and Flo Rida),” on our Summer Sampler!

BC & Merch Summer Sampler!

Summer is finally upon us, which means unbearable heat, whore-bots in swim suits, and a BC & MERCH SAMPLER! Even we were a little overwhelmed with how effing awesome our Summer Sampler is. I mean, every mixtape and sampler we put out is ballin’ outta control, but this is like “Lindsay Lohan on powder” cray cray!

You won’t be able to keep the kids off the dance floor with these tracks. Give in to the heat and you’ll be stripping off your ironic thrift-store clothes when you bump these 14 tracks of pure fancy footwork action.
