[VIDEO] Kreayshawn | “Go Hard [La.La.La.]”

It pains me to admit that I really like this damn song. For those of you out of the loop, Kreayshawn broke out last year with her crack-head hit “Gucci Gucci“. As much as the song may have sucked, it was played everywhere, and you’d be a liar if you said you didn’t at least know the chorus.

The Oakland rapper is back with the video for her song “Go Hard,” and it’s more pop than it is hip hop. Kreayshawn still throws around klunky rhymes, but dance-pop beat (thanks to production by Boys Noize) is infectious (like sleeping with Kreayshawn… ZING!).

The video itself is a cartoon, comic acid trip. It reminds me a lot of Eminem’s video for “Without Me“. To tell the truth, I wasn’t really paying attention because I was too busy drooling over Lil Debbie.

Anyway, enjoy the video:

Lil Wayne | “Sorry 4 The Wait” Mixtape

No stranger to rapping over, well, anything, Lil Wayne spits over virtually everything on his latest mixtape. He samples Adelle’s “Rolling In The Deep,” Waka Flocka Flame’s “Grove St. Party,” Drake’s “Marvin’s Room,” and of course, Kreayshawn’s “Gucci Gucci.”

Sorry 4 The Wait is essentially an apology from Weezy for pushing back his long-awaited Tha Carter IV, now set to release August 29.
